SASK Loan Device Library (San Diego area)

 Special Apps, Special Kids' (San Diego Area) Loan Device Library is OPEN! 

If you are in the San Diego area and are considering purchasing an iPad or related device for communicative or therapeutic needs, Special Apps, Special Kids has started a small loan device library so that you can check out a device for a short period of time first-loaded with apps chosen specifically to meet your needs! SASK will help you figure out how to use the device as well.

Library Participants will need to sign a device responsibility waiver and may need to be active members of the special needs community or have the support of a local organization, to ensure the library stays intact/available to as many families as possible.

Currently the library has the following devices available for checkout: an iPad2, as well as a Gab n' Go harness (communicative tool/speaker system for iPod/ iPad touch) from Safe n' Sound Mobile.

 

SASK is actively seeking android devices, and other iOS devices for the library as well.
